^C1 Citizens' Group Protests Commissioner's Bulldozing Policy

A coalition of neighborhoods and merchants banded together to protest Commissioner ^P1’s most recent development plans. "The trees Commissioner ^P1 wants to remove represent a significant part of the greater ^C1 ecological system," said Ronald Hornsby, coalition spokesman. "This plan is bound to have a detrimental effect on the quality of life in ^C1. It’s only a question of how much of a detriment," he said.

Protest organizer Stephanie Solliti noted that the coalition represents a wide cross-section of ^C1 interests. "This is something that the city has come together on. Business, industry, commercial interests, neighborhood groups--we all oppose this plan of Commissioner ^P1’s, and we urge an immediate re-evaluation."
