Flood Fouls Water Supply

All of ^C1 was in an uproar in the aftermath of last week's flood. Unusual items have been discovered coming out of the taps from the city water supply, and a number of unpleasant discoveries have been made about objects moved from their moorings.

"Well, I was just filling my nightly glass of water for my dentures, and out comes this high-heeled ladies' shoe, stocking and all!" exclaimed Ebeneezer Sneezer to a fascinated reporter. "The shoe wasn't even close to my size, though the stocking might fit," he added. In other parts of the city, pianos were found in briefcases, and four trout were fished out of Heinrich Muffluff's ear trumpet.
