Gas Power Demonstrated

A team of scientists and engineers in ^C1 demonstrated the immense capabilities of newly invented gas power. "There's no limit to the potential," team leader Bruno Metzojurno announced. "Cities will be lit all night, and electric cars will be available at all times." The awed hush of world science was disrupted suddenly when David Limer, representing a consortium of power companies began screaming "Cows, they make gas, and lots of it. We could put an entire herd under a tent and make enough gas to power Omaha."

Conference security quickly removed Mr. Limer, and the consortium later issued a statement saying that Mr. Limer was not used to Italian coffee, and had only offered an "observation."
