Hurricane Puts 13th Hole In Living Room

A tropical cyclone bearing huge amounts of rain, thunder and lightning whistled through ^C1 yesterday, uprooting trees and downing power lines. In one of the storm's most unusual developments, the Full o' Holes golf course on the outskirts of town was picked up in its entirety and a portion of it deposited in the living room of Mrs. Whizzylips Saunter, a local cosmetologist.

For Mrs. Saunter, a lifelong golfer, it's a dream come true. Interviewed while workmen were knocking out a wall to flatten the crumpled green, she said, "Though I really like the lie of the 9th better, the 13th ain't bad. My only real trouble is that the best tee shot is from my china cabinet," she sighed.
