Salt Sifter Stirs Citizens

The new desalinization plant just installed in El Pollo Del Mar, California, couldn't have come any sooner, relieved citizens declared. "Why, my margaritas have been tasting more and more like ocean water," said Frenjoop Loopdeloop, in his usual detached fashion. "And those salty dogs--don't get me started," he added.

The desalinization plant, shaped like a giant replica of Winston Churchill's cheeks, was painted a lovely fuschia to match the merriment of the occasion. Tours are held daily from 1:05 pm to 1:09 pm.
