Extra Cash Big Problem

Sim-spending is down, way down, throughout the city, according to statistics released by the Greater ^C1 Chamber of Commerce. Speaking for the Chamber, Marv Lavinowitz told reporters that "Sims are literally burning money because there's nothing to buy. There aren't enough stores, shops, or markets in general. And office space, don't get me started. Most buildings are open 24 hours now."

Those few stores that do exist are doing very well. Smits Magoo, a clerk at We Be Shoelaces, said that supply can't keep up with demand. "It's crazy. Some guy wanted to trade his car for a pair of 40-inch brown laces. I told him I only had 36-inch laces in that color. I thought he was going to explode, but he took them anyway, even though he didn't have any shoes."
