Tornado Whips Through ^C1
A tornado rampaged through town yesterday, injuring 11 residents and demolishing some downtown businesses. According to Professor Vesuvius Pakolies of Makeshift University, winds up to 112 mph were recorded, accompanied by a torrential rainfall of 6 inches over eight hours.
None of the injuries were serious, although Weegee Misnome was temporarily blinded by the olive from her martini, which struck her in the eye while she watched the storm from her veranda. The pitcher of the life-saving liquid was saved.
